How did you integrate technologies- software, hardware, and online, in this project?
🏊♂️ Software • 🍽️ Hardware • 💼 Online
🍽️ Software
Technology was at the heart of every step in creating my horror film, from the early stages of scripting to the final stages in editing and promotion. When it came to editing, I chose capcut without any second thought. It wasn't just about piecing clips together, it allowed me to shape the entire mood of the film. I could adjust the pacing with ease, experiment with eerie filters for free, and use versatile transitions to build suspense. Every cut, effect, and sound choice helped bring the horror atmosphere to life, making each scene feel more intense and immersive. But editing was only one part of the process. To make sure my film had a strong visual identity, I turned to Canva for designing posters and banners. Since the right promotional materials can instantly capture an audience’s attention, I wanted to create something that truly reflected the eerie and mysterious tone of my film. Meanwhile, html helped me to create multiple codes through which I could upgrade the look of my blog and make it visually more appealing. And, of course, none of this would have been possible without MS Word, which helped me lay the groundwork for my story by keeping my script well-structured and polished. Each of these tools played a different
role, but together, they helped turn my vision into reality
🛏️ Hardware
The success of The Unfinished Manuscript wouldn’t have been possible without the right hardware. My iPhone 15 Pro Max was my main camera, and despite being a phone, it delivered incredibly high-quality footage. Its advanced cinematic features and built-in stabilization helped me capture smooth, professional-looking shots without the need for expensive filmmaking equipment. Plus, its ability to adapt to different lighting conditions made it perfect for filming in a variety of eerie settings.Since lighting plays such a huge role in horror films, I used a ring light to help me control the brightness of my shots. It allowed me to eliminate harsh shadows when needed while still maintaining that unsettling, mysterious atmosphere. Once filming was done, my laptop became my workstation, handling everything from editing to extracting audio and managing all my digital files. Having a fast, reliable laptop made the editing process much smoother, giving me the freedom to experiment with different effects and fine-tune my film without technical issues slowing me down. Beyond the main production, my mobile phone played a key role in capturing behind-the-scenes footage. Documenting the filmmaking process not only gave me a chance to reflect on my progress but also became valuable promotional content, helping me showcase all the hard work that went into the project. Each piece of hardware had its own important role, and together, they allowed me to create a film that felt polished and immersive
🍸 Online
In addition to software and hardware, various online tools helped enhance my project by providing additional resources for editing, design, and planning. YouTube was my primary source for selecting background music and eerie sound effects, which played a crucial role in setting the tone of my film. Horror relies heavily on sound design, so finding the right ambient noises and suspenseful tracks was essential to immerse the audience in the experience. For pre-production planning, I used an online collage maker to create mood boards, visually organizing my ideas and inspirations. This helped me maintain consistency in the film’s aesthetic and themes. Additionally, Coolors was instrumental in developing color palettes that matched the horror genre. Choosing the right colors—dark, muted tones with occasional striking contrasts—helped establish the unsettling and mysterious feel I wanted in my film. Lastly, I integrated HTML codes to customize certain elements, adding an extra layer of creativity to my project. These online tools allowed me to refine my work, ensuring that every detail contributed to a cohesive and impactful horror experience.
🏙️ Integration
Bringing The Unfinished Manuscript to life was all about blending different technologies—hardware, software, and online tools—into one seamless workflow. Each element had its own role, but together, they worked in perfect harmony to enhance different aspects of the project. My hardware gave me the high-quality footage I needed as a strong foundation, while software like CapCut and Canva helped me refine it, edit it effectively, and design eye-catching promotional materials to build anticipation. At the same time, online resources like YouTube and collage makers added those extra details that gave my film more depth and polish. Integrating all these technologies didn’t just make the process more efficient—it also gave me the creative freedom to experiment and push my vision further. This experience taught me how to adapt and make the most of the tools at my disposal, proving that you don’t always need expensive, high-end equipment to create something impactful. In the
end, technology wasn’t just a support system for my project—it was a driving force that helped transform my ideas into an immersive and compelling horror film

Play Welcome to the pre-production! 👻 👻 👻 One liner An author writing a manuscript is unable to complete it due to unfavorable supernatural circumstances... However, the script isn't left unfinished - as some other entity does it for him! Name suggestions As the story was based on a horror genre, the name had to be something spooky. I thought of multiple names such as "The last words" or "Tip-toed to death". However, these seemed to be too monotonous so I decided to choose a title which would have a word that engages the audience. After much consideration, I ended up on: The unfinished manuscript This suggested the audience that a manuscript was being written which is left "Unfinished". The word "Unfinished" particularly catches the eye of everyone and I've also decided to differentiate it by using a unique font. Screenplay S...

Play Welcome to the Production! 👻 🎃 👻 ☠️ 🎃 ☠️ 🎃 Commencement of Project The production was schedueled for night of 1st February. As planned, the shoot was done and completed in the whole night and the editing was completed the next day. Filming and Lighting I filmed my movie with an Iphone 15 camera which has a 48 MP - 26 mm wide camera. Along with that we used a ring light to assist me as the scene had to be shot in the dark and it made my face clear. Also, the first shot I took, was not of the place I usually live. I captured that establishing shot some time ago when I went on a trip and that matched my film's ambience so I added it there. Most of lighting the film was lowkey to give a gloomy effect, but I also used chiaroscuro lighting at places too. Acting I was the protagonist as well...
