Skills

Have you ever wondered what it takes to master a skill? I never realised that a passion could even become a profession. In other words, I never valued my own skills until I realised how significant the role of abilities is in our daily lives!

To begin with, in grade 7, I discovered that I could play with paint way better than I knew! My first painting, with the help of my art teacher, was displayed in the exhibition on our P.T.C.
As this was my first painting, it wasn't my own innovation. Rather, I took the idea from another artist. However, what I believed was that practice makes a man perfect, so if I continued I'll get better at it.
Subsequently, at the end of grade 8, I explored a new style of art known as "Calligraphy". Although it was my first try, it turned out to be fabulous!  Most people remember all my other paintings because of this one solely:

Aside from the arts, I also developed a habit of writing. This not only helped me receive a good grade in O-level English papers, but also aided many people around me. I even became the head of my school's Dramatic Society due to the scripts I provided them! Not hitting the brakes there, I proceeded and got the chance to write a script for undergraduate students... which they performed at their University later. The script was based on a comedy genre, turning the tides of Disney stories upside down. The story depicted Disney princesses as evil who are going to hell due to their deeds and are right now in the Purgatory.

They had to perform in their class, hence they couldn't create the perfect setting. However, the dress and the projector assisted them a little bit. On the extreme left, we have Cinderella, followed by Rapunzel and a drug-addicted Aurora... Also known as "The Sleeping Beauty".  In the middle is Hades, confronting Snow White at the moment, while Jasmine and Belly (from Beauty and the Beast) are on the right. This gave a boost to my motivation as well as my dialogue-writing ability.

And lastly, another form in which my creativity manifested was in the creation of "Ambigrams". Ambrigrams are such words which can be read upside down too. This is a very rare talent which most of people are unaware of, even me until I saw a YouTube video.

These are examples of some names which, even though turned upside down, stay the same! This talent of mine flabbergasted even the ones who've mastered Arts. Not only individual names but two names can also be combined into a single one.

This was a present for a newly wedded couple which read the Husband's name from one side and the wife's name from the other. It proved to be a delightful gift for the couple and they have kept it very close to their hearts.

This and the above-mentioned projects are some of the few examples that demonstrate the talent I possess. Exploring myself and the creativity that lies within has been a very fruitful and adventurous journey. I'm exhilarated to pursue this long road to discover myself and reach the absolute potential that slumbers beneath the layers of my subconscious!

Play Welcome to the pre-production! 👻 👻 👻 One liner An author writing a manuscript is unable to complete it due to unfavorable supernatural circumstances... However, the script isn't left unfinished - as some other entity does it for him! Name suggestions As the story was based on a horror genre, the name had to be something spooky. I thought of multiple names such as "The last words" or "Tip-toed to death". However, these seemed to be too monotonous so I decided to choose a title which would have a word that engages the audience. After much consideration, I ended up on: The unfinished manuscript This suggested the audience that a manuscript was being written which is left "Unfinished". The word "Unfinished" particularly catches the eye of everyone and I've also decided to differentiate it by using a unique font.  Screenplay S...

Play Welcome to the Production! 👻 🎃 👻 ☠️ 🎃 ☠️ 🎃   Commencement of Project The production was schedueled for night of 1st February. As planned, the shoot was done and completed in the whole night and the editing was completed the next day. Filming and Lighting I filmed my movie with an Iphone 15 camera which has a 48 MP - 26 mm wide camera. Along with that we used a ring light to assist me as the scene had to be shot in the dark and it made my face clear. Also, the first shot I took, was not of the place I usually live. I captured that establishing shot some time ago when I went on a trip and that matched my film's ambience so I added it there. Most of lighting the film was lowkey to give a gloomy effect, but I also used chiaroscuro lighting at places too. Acting I was the protagonist as well...
